Big News and Big Changes

As many of you know, I am expecting a baby at the end of August!  My husband and I are thrilled to be starting the journey of parenthood.  However, this does mean some changes to my practice in the upcoming months.

Vermont Office Schedule

I will be on maternity leave from August 15, 2015 through the new year.  I will resume seeing patients in January of 2016.  While I am away, Dr. Laila Tomsovic will be seeing patients in my office.  To schedule an appointment with her, you can call my normal office number 802-490-2080, or schedule online.  Please see below for more information.

Massachusetts Office Closure

Even bigger changes are in store for my Northampton office.  As of August 1st, 2015, I will no longer be seeing patients in Massachusetts.  Patients are welcome to schedule office visits in Brattleboro (about a 45 minute drive from Northampton) or phone consultations when I return from maternity leave.  If you would prefer to see someone in the Northampton area, please click here to find a list of naturopathic doctors in Massachusetts. Please email me if you would like a list of recommended acupuncturist in th Northampton area.

Why Is My Massachusetts Office Closing?

You may ask: “Why are you closing the Massachusetts office?”  The short answer is that with a baby on the way, I believe it is a good time to simplify.  The long answer is that Massachusetts does not license naturopathic doctors. The frustrating limitations imposed by the state’s lack of licensure of my profession limit my ability to provide the comprehensive care that I strive to bring to each and every patient.

I am sad to close my practice in my home state, and hope to re-open again when Massachusetts joins the majority of states in New England that license naturopathic doctors.  Please click here to read an article on why licensing naturopathic doctors is so important.

If you have any questions about these changes, please feel free to contact me directly.
